Think yourself lucky - every office PC I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 had such major issues that I hurriedly reverted back to Win 7. I should add that all machines are only 2-3 year old hardware....
Finally becoming tired with the constant MS bickering to upgrade to Win 10, I found a free solution (GWX Control Panel) to nobble all the reminders and prevent any other users accidentally accepting an upgrade. My corner of the pond is quiet and peaceful again, and Win 10-free.
