It's so childish to respond like that.
I have no doubt my carbon footprint is a fraction of yours and I would be prepared to make sacrifices that you wouldn't but I prefer to wait until we all share any burden. That's the fair solution and the only difference will be that i'll be content while you will be complaining.
The carbon footprint of windmills and solar panels is a tiny fraction of a coal, gas or diesel power station because they repay the energy invested many times over while the fossil fuel generators constantly consume more energy than they produce by their very nature. Let alone the initial coat of building them in the first place.
