We both well know that there is a H U G E difference in outlook between actual Syrians who are aligned to the SDF and the YPG and Turkish PKK hardliners who exert their influence in a variety of ways.
You have essentially confirmed this reality in your earlier posts …… for example when the poor old civil administration of Afrin was pleading to both the Damascus Government for support but the PKK aligned commander would have none of it.
I'm not surprised to hear there are contractors boosting the SDF numbers. That doesn't worry either me or most of the residents of North East Syria.
Personally I would not be opposed to seeing a level of co-operation between the US and China in the SDF controlled zone …… and I will be called an idiot and flamed by people on all sides for saying so. Some parties need to get out of the box of seeing their interests as necessarily conflicting or that these conflicts will stay frozen (without resolution) forever.
