it looks as if the company is in the wrong business. the lng price is collapsing, just at the time the 3 gladstone lng plants are about to come online.
i have read that the gladstone plants are break even at $16 per mmbtu. the attached article states that prices could come down to $6 to $7 per mmbtu & stay there for 6-7 years. i have if that happens the gladstone plants may be mothballed before they ever produce.
rch and nekta may be better off operating cafe's cbd's around the country because it seems busy mining camps are going to be a thing of the past.
an absolutely devastating & sudden collapse in the business. i guess that goes with commodities, great in the good times but like musical chairs, dont be caught standing when the music stops.
