Actually, I'm not from Morangup, or anywhere near this proposed mine. Just someone who is informed about what is happening in Perth's backyard. You've made it clear you are anti 'anti-miners'. Another fact: I am not anti-mining. However, I do wonder about the viability of an open cut mine so close to Perth, our water catchment area and a push by Govt for peri-urban development. Read the latest Peel development plan. State Govt wants to make the Hills the new residential corridor for Perth (instead is just spreading north and south). Not sure an open cut mine fits in with this philosophy.
