To continue Watso's pie shop analogy, if GDA was a pie shop it would be run by two or three people all called Warren, but they would spend half their time in Hong Kong on other business. There would be no pies for sale but an old fly-specked sign in the window would promise gourmet home-baked pies available soon. Most customers would go to the bigger, more reliable bakery around the corner but a loyal customer base would come back each day to see if the gourmet pies had arrived yet. Despite a lack of pies or any discernible trade, all the Warrens would pay themselves handsomely and think what a wonderful job they had done.
Moral of the story: a hot pie in the hand is worth a million Warren promises.
