My guess is we'll have a trading range of $50 - $75 PER bbl whilst the Saudi/US games go on.
Yanks want it lower, Saudis want it higher and it'll go somewhere inbetween.
Oil is a major political weapon and will always be manipulated as such.
Supply/Demand inequalities will always play out in time regardless of the short term political games.
Also don't forget the Capex stream for oil/gas investment has been quite starved over the last few years from 2014 and now.
This lack of investment will impact the market sooner or later. The lag effect for new production has to be factored in.
For our SP we all want it sooner but as consumers, for energy costs maybe we don't.
