I think sto will come into its own in 5 years and beyond when the LNG market tightens. LNG has a bright future and will be used for the next 50 years. Only gas can supply the energy that will provide the energy for ongoing industrialization and rising living standards in Asian and India. Other hydrocarbons such a coal may be left as stranded assets but gas will used in ever increasing quantities. Renewables will play a role but cannot replace gas in many industrial processes and will be hard to roll out on a scale required in densely populated countries to provide baseload power.
