No idea of politics locally but it doesnt look like it is exactly situated in the bread basket of the state. Good thought to fight one battle. Arguments against it appear emotional and ideologically driven than founded in fact. They worry about theoretical adverse outcomes and forget about the actual economic consequences of high energy costs. I guarantee more lives are lost through high energy costs directly through inability of elderly to heat and cool their homes and indirectly through negative economic outcomes ie unemployment, drug and alcohol abuse, reduced access to medical care and avoidance of preventable diseases etc.
