Yeah - I've been hearing the same thing. That if labour is elected many of the miners will be paying out dividends to use up all their franking credits, otherwise they'll go to waste which obviously us shareholders would hate. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see a return to an interim dividend from MGX given that they will be back generating cashflows in the first half of this year.
