For almost a year now everybody knows about the s-u-b-p-r-i-m-e problem.
The market has been flat and down ever since; and I'm thinking: it's already all in the price.
If this keeps going for another couple of month the All Ords will be sub P/E 10.

On top of that the US massacred the interest rates, induced or is going to induce a 160 billion or whatever 'rescue' package.

My feeling and I mean my -feeling- is:

The US is not in as bad a state as the US thinks it is.

Asia still powers ahead and sooner than later (a month or two or three)
the market will go up and up and up; and everybody is going to scratch their heads wondering what happened to the 'subprime'.

I heard some forecaster predict the All Ords to be at 7000 by the end of the year.

    IMO his estimate is conservative.

What has that got to do with ARQ?
Your thinking, Doodles, on price and or takeover and the market conditions and ARQ's solid production assets AND THE CANNING, has this beauty sitting right in the center of a stretched rubber band.
