Investors in this company need to ask themselves "what will be the EBIT in the next 5, 10, 15 years from now? Hedging until 2013 is only a short term fix.
I'm not so sure there will be an EBIT in 5 years time.
Lets get the story straight: Macmin Silver goes into administration because the mine was uneconomical.
Optimism grows in financial markets and silver hits record highs because of the depreciation of the USD and JP Morgan's well documented short covering.
Now the USD is considered a safe haven with all the uncertainty surrounding Europe and Asia => bad news for precious metals.
Margins as of right now are not good. Operating costs at "$15 an ounce" which excludes Depreciation, Amortisation, Tax and Interest.
