does anyone know of any similar examples of Hz re-drills, through oily regions, after producing traditional well?

Company? Before? After? Announcements / Data?

The usual directional drilling I come across is more exploration type.

From a laymans POV, drilling parallel along an oil show would seem to expose the well to a lot more oil -> access more reserves, faster production. Rather than perpendicular pierce at one point with limited exposure to 95% of reserves.

Any info. appreciated.

Most likely, news will be next week, cause I will have limited access to nerdbox cause will have some French alps to ski the butt off. Someone has to do it.
