Good reply Mowerman. Ric, the shares aren't free, as mowerman said they are issued instead of cash. The price will now have been set at close of business yesterday. The price is determined by determining the average cost per share paid over 4 days (ending yesterday) less a 5% discount. In some respects it's unfortunate that todays plunge will not be reflected. From WTP's point of view it's like a capital raising in that they keep their cash & issue shares instead. Yes there is a slight dillution to shareholders, but in the scheme of things that would not be great. I do not think for one second that this company has the problems experienced by other companies which have been targeted like an injured fish in a shark pool.
Significant cash reserves, property on books at cost, significant orderbook for work going forward, high quality experienced management & staff with considerable industry credibilty, well located development land, a crafty old industry stalward major shareholder (26%) as Chairman and geographically spread accross Vic, NSW & Qld. This stock is vastly different to other stocks in the sector.
