You are digging too deep ,strauss.
I guess the market expected a long term relationship with a giant like JX Nipon , but this payment was in fact a settlement...Perhaps to avoid possible litigation....In other words it was an end rather than a beginning of a relationship.
The "strong" INL team managed to chew through the $5m in 12 months.....Good effort.
This old Intec is dead & buried.
The new management are divesting all the old links.
The remnants of the old Intec are:
# 5% royalty from Intec International Projects for any commercialization of its Hydrometallurgical process for metal extraction....Could become a small earner for no effort to INL.
# 5% holding in BSM....Chicken feed.
# 2.5% on "production" from Hellyer....I doubt there will be any.
# 100% ownership of Zeehan Zinc Slags in Tassie that has well over $100m of contained metal value , but it is probably worth only a couple of million if divested.
The future of INL lies in the success & growth of SciDev & possible similar acquisition....The remnants of the old Intec may provide much needed help/cash.
