why web and wtf bid so hard and what tvl worth

I have never had this experience before; three parties want my share (web, wtf and aot)

Today two parties revise they bid in one single day, I am wondering this auction is end

But why web and wtf bid so hard and what tvl worths?

Tvl has two very good brand travel.com.au and lasterminuter.com.au and the second which is extremely good for euo expand.

flt, wtf and tvl are all in travel industry but in different market and different business model with some overlap.

Flt is more on expensive and high margin travel package market, in this market web has not showed its power yet.

Web is in low margin booking market but with first start advantage, that let any follower to hard to find a space, travel.com.au has very good airplane booking engine, but I agree with tvl management rather then fight with web, better just join with it. The question I have with web are ( and this is the reasons I brought tvl instead of web two years ago) they are weak in I.T. and less experience in travel market, now they are bit of loss direction. Merge with tvl will help them a lot. Because of low margin they couldn¡¯t afford telephone customer support then very hard to get in corporation airplane ticket and accommodation market and tvl have ability to do well in this area and this is also one of the reason wtf like tvl. On the other hand without tvl, I am not sure web¡¯s further.

Wtf is more in accommodation market then in travel industry where they want to be but leak of skill and experience, $50m for tvl is peanuts for them and suddenly they are in here. Or if they let web and tvl merge together, just couple years wtf accommodation market could be threat by web+tvl and at the same time they have difficult to enter whole travel market and oversee, this is a very bad picture!

Tvl has lots of difficult from its first day came to asx and never made a dim! But it always wants to be an eCom. travel business and just couldn¡¯t figure out how to do it. After pay million of million dollar to learn and with current managements came in, they finally get the master key. The market pays too much attention its still on red and money they spent to learn then its business model( and way under price it). As soon as it is on black, it can be very powerful business ( from oversea experience, its all in one web site concept could be a killer ).

If tvl stands alone, in ticket market it has to fight with weband in accommodation market, wtf is too hard to competed with.

My guessing three of them web, tvl and wtf, if two of them join together, the last one could have very hard live in further, and chance for tvl stands alone very slim. So web and wtf will bid bitterly but it might be still ok for wtf to fight with web+tvl but not wtf+tvl vs web.

You can see it is something like to live or dead.
