Hi gassed,
Sharon Prior advised me a while ago that there are three (3) separate geographical parts to the Ewamian Aboriginal Corporation (aka Ewamian people). All three groups must ultimately agree for the ILUA to succeed.
Whilst I have no doubt the agreement will eventually be executed by all parties, I wouldn’t guess this would take place within weeks.
Laws around who exactly is required to sign the ILUA have changed recently, for the better. In the past I believe all members of the EAC were required to sign off, however recent changes only require one representative of the EAC to execute.
Thanks Dugsab. You would have noticed that the EAC held three meetings culminating on last Sunday "to consult and seek the consent of the Ewamian People before it
enters into any agreement with Laneway." Three meetings were held over their three regions. We, therefore, are as close as we have ever been to see if the TOs will sign the ILUA for Agate Creek.
Surely, by now, the company should know what decisions were made at those three meetings. When will they tell us and who is still playing funny buggers with the VWAP and why?
