High Tungsten Grades at Nina Prospect In the previous quarter new zones of visually extensive bedrock and residual soil fluorescence associated with scheelite were delineated at the ‘Nina’ prospect, located approximately 15 km north from the Minnie Springs molybdenum prospect (Figure 1). Rock samples of outcrop were collected from a selected and minor portion of the soil geochemistry anomaly, from which all assays including XRF finishes for high grade tungsten (W) have been received. Overall, the potential of tungsten (W) mineralisation visually identified at Nina has been confirmed with the return of selective grab samples up to >10%W, and composite samples across vein faces which included: 1.5m @0.4%W, 1.2m @0.13%W and 0.4m @0.7%W. Mineralisation occurs either as coarse grained quartz - scheelite veins spatially associated with meta-dolerite units or as disseminations within less well defined pegmatite and altered pelitic bodies. The overall extent, grade and setting of the mineralisation indicates that potentially significant zones of tungsten may occur at Nina. Further work is being planned to test this.
