The Company has received many approaches from permanent magnet producers in the US, Europe, South Korea and Japan regarding the potential for the sale of separated rare earth oxide products from the potential large-scale project. This includes dysprosium oxide, terbium oxide, neodymium and praseodymium as well as the potential for the separation of other heavy rare earths.

Discussions have progressed during the June quarter with potential licensing partners for the application of downstream processing technologies. The technologies being assessed have the potential to be applied earlier in the processing route, saving the costs of producing a mixed rare earth carbonate (or will produce separated rare earths?) while providing rare earth products. The low-energy technologies being investigated have the potential to be implemented as a value add at the Browns Range site.

The Company hopes to progress these discussions to a Memorandum of Understanding in the September quarter and will inform the market of progress as and when this occurs.
