Just an update on my previous daily Ichimuko US dollar gold chart.
Price action is now above the cloud on the daily. Any smart shorters will have exited their positions on the 24 August 2018 as I indicated on my previous chart (and again on the chart below). The intra day low of US$1,160 is looking more and more like a turning point as indicated in my chart. With the way US treasuries are being sold off I wouldn't be surprised if this turning point doesn't develop into a very long term low. The shorters on US paper markets who operate on leverage of 20 to 1 still have a lot of power, but they are only a small segment of a very large and liquid market, so when the tide goes out on US debt (as it seems to be doing at the moment) they better hope they haven't left their shorts on the beach or they will be swimming naked. Esh
