WAF is a very difficult and disheartening stock to own at the moment. I'm sure we're all feeling it. DXY is on an absolute belter and there's zero love for gold (or gold producers / explorers). In fact, shorts on COMEX gold are at an all-time-high.
The next couple of days will be critical to how the next chapter of the trade war saga unfolds. The end of the 60 day consultation period for the 3rd round of (25%) tariffs ends on Wednesday and tariffs may be implemented as soon as Thursday.
If this happens, it seems inevitable tYuan will correct and POG will plummet, at least in the short-term. I wonder the effect that the tariffs will have on US market sentiment? Will this be the pinprick that bursts the grotesque equity bubble?
