The share price isn't the best at all and i know that's fairly obvious considering all the talk surrounding how profitable and economical the project is. I feel if this project was on an average scale we wouldn't be seeing the share price flop, by that statement i mean the company has one of the best deposits out there at the moment and strangely enough i feel that's why this share price action is a good sign. It doesn't make sense and i think we can all agree if not most of us on that, This project is different from the rest and sometimes great things attract ridiculous outcomes.
Games are being played by whom i don't know but i know the value here is something that is increasingly hard to find.
I spoke to two resources geologists a few days ago at the tanami mine sites northern star have a joint venture on, For those who don't know or cannot figure by the tittle. Resources Geo's specialise is resource estimation and they also determine whether a resource is feasible to mine (worth it) from a geology point of view. Just as a side note, graduate geologists, project, resource and senior geologists (and more) all have different job aspects and they all specialise in different areas when it comes to geology so a "grad geo" and a project Geo do two completely different things and it takes years of experience to move from grad to project. Basically what you learn in Uni doesn't show in the field and its basically like uni all over again.
Long story short i ran them through the numbers and they said that it was world class and it will be a very profitable mine.
I spoke to our exploration manager a few months ago because he was telling us that he recently just got back from west Africa he said the terrain is very much like the tanami desert in the northern territory.
A few weeks later Norther Star brought the Pogo mine in alaska.
lets keen our heads high and hope for the best !
