looks like we are back to the days when $96 or did it not use to be $3 lol, that threw mkt cap around by tens of thousands. (long term watchers and investors will be aware of what I mean.

as far as I am aware, finance is sorted for the ongoing business. just amendments to be granted and the greenies happy. with port approval already granted but not the later requested ammendments then it seems to me that very few read the company reports. certain things would be legally challenged imo if written into a report and later found out to be misleading to a downright con. I do not believe what has been reported re finance is not correct.

as for dac, to have granted approval and then not grant amendments with out complete compromise to the greenies and gvt at some stage, would render the sa gvt a complete farce to anyone, especially overseas investors.

we have a decent number of shares held overseas, including my 100 trf lol but with dac's reputation at stake along with the sa gvt needing to get votes from the working electorate, the few greeneis plus keeping the hoots in Canberra happy, I cannot imagine that at some stage all this will not be compromised, agreed and running one day. timelines are extremely concerning but if all the efforts are made to protect the environment, the people needing jobs and the gvt pen pushers justifying their jobs then I go along with it all.

this is a very unusual opportunity in that we are only waiting for a closing gvt document to open the door for shipping the iron ore.

I understand frustrations we had with investors, incl myself, prior to that final dac meeting, or should I not say meetings but surely this is not a ship to be abandoned now.

from prob more yrs experience than a few hundred copperites added together paddling this canoe, I may be wrong, I may be right but there is some serious experienced money on this going ahead and just a few coppers bailing out. my money is with the experienced here and not the sloppy day traders looking for a fast buck, altho I fail to see it will not be a very fast buck sooner or later.

my own experience says not to go overboard any one stock. it is very tempting but I remain happy holding my few shares.

only time will tell this story out successfully or not but in my heart I am so confident that I cannot sleep with all the time I sit watching for that google announcement link telling me that ................

    I just wait.

be good and I really hope sooner than later that those long term holders get their just rewards. if not, then those poor buzzards and me jolly self will be back to selling newspapers on the street corner.

have you ever sold newspapers on the street corner 40 ?

now ted, where do you think I learnt the artform of making dough from, eh ?

    just wondered 40.

'news, star and standard'. if you are an old pom then you will understand.

    great days ted, great days.

sold my first newspapers for 2d ted. yep, 2d a copy.

    once again, be good,

    40.
