I'm confused how the market can respond so negatively to results which, when delivered by other companies receives high praise..

I think DR made clear that the conglomerate story was not his main bag from day 1 and focusing on expanding Klondike was his main aim I assume that his methodology of drilling programme is designed to work most effectively for the PFS. Dave and his team have huge experience, drilling out and proving up large resources of other minerals, so I would trust their approach over an investor whinging about not seeing a 300% increase in their minuscule holding in a matter of months.
