JK, Marble Bar is some of the oldest land in the world, known as a craton. The 2 granite plates you are talking about then came up from under a shallow sea, crashing into each other & creating the folds, the upturned shears, which then acted as natural vents so they should all be mineralised to some extent & to a great depth. I do agree it would be nice to hear more good news.
