Making up some ground today. The Canadian close was even better at around $1.73 in AUD.
Even a close around the current 1.67 is going to look good on the charts with the price breaking out through the shorter term down trend line and the uptrend line not even being hit in December before bouncing higher.

Higher copper prices are helping to offset recent weakness in POG but this POG weakness may be temporary as the pure gold producers have been doing well over the last four weeks with the GDX up from 1703 to 1924 today.
