    1.) I would say yes, but not a major reason.

    2.) MLT doesn't have a DRP anymore only a SPP, which has been criticized because of lack of equality (I think their is more info on this somewhere on the ASA website). MLT has not always traded at a discount, historically it has been @ a premium. If you look at the below link and open report Bell Potter Securities LIC Research - Jan 2011 (Goto page 4) you will actually see that MLT has made a large Deviation from the normal Pre-tax NTA premium. Now is this a new paradigm or a market quirk? I can't answer that one.

    3.) I agree with this, i sappose then it depends what you use the stock for. I use it for growing income stream, not for trading.
