Orchard, there could well be something up because the volume is the second highest today since the two days straight after the bid was announced.I am not worried though as I see it as a positive.
PDG could easily increase the bid 20c (or more) which is only about 1% of its market cap without affecting the value of its shares. Companies don't make takeover bids at the maximum price they are willing to pay first up, they leave room to increase the bid in order to win over the target shareholders.
I would be surprised if there wasn't a higher bid and thats why I bought today at $3.59. Lets hope I am right.
