there just forcing people to buy more of their dog biscuits. But I agree its silly in this day and age to do so with electronic systems. However maybe eldest brother bought some back in the good old days and threw them in bottom drawer only to find bottom drawer now full of small parcels. They probably don't have a computer and forgot to sign up for emails.
Actually theirs a good point. If you register for emails you get excluded from sale.
