Choice? A conviction or lack of conviction is the result of a process of thought. Thought itself being a process of the mind, which in turn is an activity of a brain.... a brain that has strengths and weaknesses, conditionig and biases, so if a belief or lack of belief is justified, it is justified through evidence, or lack of evidence....not by faith and not what it says in this or that "holy book."
