Blue chip stocks are say top 20 or even top 50 on the ASX. I.e. in mining BHP & RIO
Not GXY and PLS. Hence blue chip battery stocks is probably an oxymoron.
You could say more respected or something like that.
e.g. 5 yrs ago GXY's SP was something like 3c
