    Hey you guys shouldn't get too excited about this Sam Jonah joining the board of Moto. From the press clippings below it looks like he is joining every company around in the last month or so.

    This certainly dilutes some of the supposed gloss he will be bringing to Moto. Lets hope his surname doesn't ring true!

    Equinox Minerals Limited (TSX and ASX symbol: "EQN") is very pleased to announce that Sir Sam Jonah has been appointed to its Board of Directors effective immediately. Sir Sam has also accepted the appointment of Non-Executive Chairman and will be a member of the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee replacing Mr Geoff Reynolds who will retire from the Board.

    Equator Exploration Ltd. has announced the appointment of Sir Sam Jonah as Executive Chairman from Non-
    Executive Chairman. Mr. Wade Cherwayko will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer.

    Sir Sam Jonah is stepping down as executive president of AngloGold Ashanti Limited, a NYSE listed company and one of the world’s largest mining companies, to take up his appointment with Equator. Prior to his position at AngloGold, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited from 1986 thru 2004 and oversaw its growth and listing as the first operating Sub-Saharan African company on the NYSE. He became president of AngloGold Ashanti in May 2004, when Ashanti was acquired by AngloGold Limited.
