Dear xxxxxxwwwww and Buddy134, with due respect to both of you ( and believe me I respect you both enormously over the years on this forum!) whilst I invested in CDU due to the stated copper percentages published and remained an enthusiastic investor from that respect, albeit I was sceptical about the various shenanigans that came to light over time.
If you go over my posts I think it is quite incorrect to call me a "ramper" as most of my posts including many from both of you that I have replied to I have been somewhat cynical but unfortunately remained seduced by what I thought was the veracity of printed drilling results indicating bonanza copper grades. I could not and still cannot believe that we were lied to on such a grand scale over the years. I didn't think that the AASX / ASICs would allow such misleading reports. I was never one of the "cheersquad."
In fact the commonly used forum pseudonym for Wayne McCrae and his son "Uncle Wayne and Cousin Cameron" was my invention as a sarcastic reference to the seedy and incestuous nature of the company dealings that went on by WM. If you check my posts you will see that I was shot down many times for asking things like "what qualifications Cameron had" and what was he actually achieving etc And famously when I asked what actual mines had WM taken from cradle to completion...nobody knew or answered.
Further more if you check into my posts you will see that due to my questioning and criticisms I received threats on my office answering machine by persons unknown indicating that had they tracked me down and knew where I worked and where I lived and to be careful what I said on Hotcopper or else etc. (I think they found my details out when I had stated in a Hotcopper post I had a specified number of shares in the forum saying that I had "x number of reasons for this company to work out positively", I assume they checked the share registry for someone with that specific number of shares and voila they then had my name and address! A mistake on my part)
As mentioned before if you actually check my posts you'll find out that I was never a ramper but certainly a remorseful and cynical investor always hoping, despite the good advices that forum members such as yourselves gave freely, I hoped that at least something positive would come of it all.
In fact during the entire fiasco I was going through an acrimonious divorce and was being reamed royally by my ex, the lawyers and courts. I would think my investment was based on "it sounds so good I can maybe get some of my money back" and the rest they say is history.
Misled about the deposit but a ramper no! ( please take the time to check my posts ).
Thank you both over the years for your insights to the forum and whilst I feel sorry for myself regarding my own personal investment ( I vomit when I use that word in a reference to CDU) I am grateful that I have a great profession in which I have never had a bad day's work in my life so I am able to have put this chapter behind me and move on. I have written off the CDU shares a long time ago and am only regretful that I had not remained as vigilant as I perhaps should have on this company due to my work and the abovementioned life event occupying a huge amount of my time.
All the best to both of you!
