So far the UK seems to be tolerant of the issues around waste disposal because of the presence of radioactive materials. Of course the UK has a long history because of its radioactive waste disposal activity since the 1950's (or thereabouts).
What brings this issue to mind is all the trouble that Lynas (LYC.ASX) has had to deal with in relation to its processing facility in Malaysia.
So far the UK seems to be tolerant of the issues around waste...
