It was voted down because there were not enough votes from shareholders who were prepared to vote for the change and the existing directors weaved their magic with some of the other major shareholders.
they also spoke out against the shareholders who were trying to make the change, the same way they are now trying to change the auditors.
In the case of the auditors they have NOT given sufficient information to shareholders to explain WHY the current auditors had so many issues with them. It is not good enough.
The more people who post here and share their views the better it will be.
Just because the proposal was voted against doesn't make it right. If we believe that change should occur and we believe in it then we should NOT GIVE UP!
