If Trump actually sought to make America more efficient he would have started by dismantling their crazy libel and damages laws. Those laws are as good as a trade embargo for any small business seeking to sell anything into the US.

Trump's second port of call should have been to untangle all of the financial rorts which are tied to the health sector. Medicine can be done effectively and relatively cheaply unless you live in the US.

Trump could have balanced the Federal Budget but elected to spend more on ever more debt. That's neither left wing not is it right wing. It's sheer stupidity.

Trump would like to sue his critics but in a democratic system banter is to be expected. For a sitting politician to successfully sue a critic the onus is on them to prove that the other party acted dishonestly and maliciously. For the same reason, people who wear political statements on their clothing invite robust discussion. So long as nobody gets violent it's all good.
