SA had a perfect opportunity to embrace nuclear technology, ie. do more than just sell yellow cake to all and sundry. But no, the green machine got into full swing and scuttled the idea. It is the same with coal. Happy to export it but hell no you cant use it. You are right it is embarrassing.
