I am similar in that I learnt from my early days of trading to pick a stock with fundamentals early and hold long to avoid paying excessive tax.

Senex has been that stock for years and whilst I'm still waiting for it to reach full potential all its done is given me opportunity to top up along the way.

Should pay the mortgage off when it finally goes bang - that's going to be an exciting day.

That or when it finally pays a dividend
