Will be interesting to see. I think that recent work focused on proximity on magmatic hydrothermal fluids, whereas Myall Creek appeared to be formed by cooler fluids bringing minerals into organically enriched sedimentary rock https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/BF00204379.pdf, so its somewhat a different process. Regardless, I guess the initial mineralisation had to come from somewhere!
Hopefully FMG will have a red hot go at the area and any hits will focus attention on Myall Creek. Would be good to see a JV with FMG along the lines we had with KSN for Myall Creek and Cultana. That helped drill out the large Cultana Falcon EM survey target, that if IOCG instead of iron, would have made all the SER (EBR) holders at the time very happy!
