Several weeks ago when looking at ELM i misread the depth of Potash as 200-300'. Of course it is 3x that at 200-300m. I have wondered how economical this resource will prove to be so have done some initial reading on mines elsewhere and discovered that many mines around the world reach as deep as 4,400' or 1,400m i.e. 6x the depth of hanging-wall!! Looks better all the time!
It seems current Potash is selling for $575/ton. Wikepedia notes: 'Potash prices have soared in recent years. What was once a commodity worth about $200 a tonne is expected to reach $1,500 by 2020; Vancouver prices reached US$872.50 per tonne in 2009, which is a record high.[19] As of November 2011 potash prices have dropped to about $470 per metric tonne.[20] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potash
