huge shorts last Friday and on Monday when this thread started, since then GOLD USD and AUD prices have rebounded quite strongly.
Was end of month but to be honest it was more like a short squeeze as there was a huge amount shorted just prior
If you look at the data, potential for another squeeze back to 446 level with rising gold, rising accumulated shorts. Short term his is look quite good, will be interested to see if someone starts building on the bid to squeeze the shorts for a run as 50 dma and 100 DMA have crossed pointing up
time will tell, plenty of short fuel in the trade at present, gold now 1240USD and AUD gold rebounded very strongly now over 1700AUD, oil prices are also down which is good for all miners
