In the Southern Hemisphere it's pretty much only Tasmania, South Island or New Zealand, and the bottom tip of South America that is viable, and all those places currently have salmon industries.

Tassals plan is diversification, they will continue growing their core salmon business, but have diversified into marketing other seafoods via the decosti purchase, and have hinted they may be looking into Prawn farming.

seafood is big business, and aquaculture is going to be a bigger part of that business, there is plenty of room for Tassal to grow over time into other areas and species.
