My criticism of their self promotion style or lack there of is based on the amount of info I read or hear directly from other JVs that ARC couldn't be bothered passing on to their shareholders and the wider investing/speculating community.
There are as you point out, definitely some major advantages in not showing everyone your hand, however, there has been a long list of small positives and other pieces of valuable info that would influence the timing of an exit or entry onto ARCs share register and I believe in most instances they stay fully entrenched in the blood-out-of-a-stone mentality when it comes to information feed.
Just hope you are correct in that they will heavily promote on success.
