I have no idea how credible it is but when I saw the price dropping I did a google search for Burkina Faso News and this came up

Having held through the terrorist attack, a coup and an uprising I am quick to check these things out, however I haven't seen it reported anywhere other than in the above link. Usually Joe Bavier on twitter would be onto something like this but I haven't seen it there either.
