Yes, of course Timber. The other saying that has been doing the rounds for ever, it seems is, ..."this time it will be different". Prof Nassim Nicholas Taleb made his name out of paraphrasing this saying in modern parlance, a "Black Swan" Event. Mark Creasy (eternal gold prospector of note and much mulah) used to go to sleep in his landrover chanting something like this mantra to his faithful canine friend, and he is now worth way north of $500m.
