    Sure Reggie
I am referring to coal blocks since this is strongest referral and it really reflects the government policy regarding mining in general.
    1.
Coal is in focus and knowing Indian mentality and somehow the way laws are stipulated by Lok Sabha and further clarified by SC, the approach applied on coal will be later used as the unified set of rule for mining in general.
    2.
Auction is applied for purchase of electricity from the private power plants by the state electricity boards. In few cases not even escalation factor was used ( see Cairn India case), though these power plants are to be fueled by coal from allocated coal blocks.
    3.
FDI in mining is 100%. Why industry giants are not rushing into India? Coal and coke are in high demand.
    4.
A review of all the permits or ML granted after 1993 will scrutinized. New government must show the clear change of course and emphasize it's willingness to implement transparency.
    5.
Left wing government is supposed to behave and act as a one, so PSU as CIL is supposed to can step in as custodians, in hard rock area HZ ill be more than happy to float a JV with the Gov and work with available resources.

    Wait and see.
