Not today, I bought it on Friday, the third day of the first sell off. Off course it came under my radar after it fell more than 50% in one day.
I would never hesitate to share my failure stories and trust me there are many. I have actually learnt my lessons the hard way by losing a lot of money and most importantly my precious time. I have witnessed the sinking ships of XPE, VIC, 88E, AVL etc. to name a few. I very well understand how challenging is to deal with continuous failures as these cause self doubt, that is too detrimental of your success.
I have been guilty of chasing stocks while going up and trying to catch the bottom while they were tanking. I consider myself fortunate that I had the tenacity to forget my silly (and now I consider amusing) mistakes and moved on. I went through a complete overhaul of my trading strategy that is helping me now. in one line, the new strategy is never to fall in love of a stock and avoid the greed and the temptation to clinging on to a stock too long so that all your profits are wiped away bit by bit. Less is more in stock trading. No stock is worth holding for too long unless you are in the know of things inside out about the company. Its a very dirty game and when you are wining, there is always a time to take your money out of the table.
Good luck to you and all holders and traders.
