"November 2010 may subscribe for up to $15,000 of AQR shares at 45 cents per share, subject to a
minimum application for $2,500 of AQR shares"..............

Just a quick survey on who of the HotCopper posters on the AQR forum are going to take up their entitlement for the SPP?

I certainly am not, as i have been burnt so many times taking up placements only to watch the share price fall even further once the additional shares hit the market.
Their (AQR Managements) discounted bargain price of $0.45 per share is no longer in the money so i think they will have a serious problem raising the cash, unless they come clean with some info re the Joint Venture deal in a real hurry, and personally I can't see that happening!!!
Management need to take their blinkers off, they cannot expect people to invest in AQR by continually releasing "pretty pictures" with no progression on the joint venture talks that according to the company are with a "Major", when in fact these supposed talks have now been going on for at least 3 years!!!
It was also disappointing to be told by the company in the previous quarters report that "the company had adequate cash in hand" and then we are hit with a Cap raising.
If i had any idea this was fortcoming i would have sold out of AQR immediately.
Now we are all down the gurgler.
It will be interesting to see what if any of the SPP the board members take up???
