They are extremely deep. And so deep in fact, that the hands can hardly reach the bottom where the money sits.
IMHO, the only reason that they've got Arrow in the first place, was because they starved them for money and possibilities, and then in the end they won. They even went/turned against Arrow when they were to take over PES at the time, by giving in and selling their PES stake to BG instead, and forcing Arrow to withdraw from the race.
Good JV partners to be in with. NOT!!!
Now, why did they turn against Arrow and leaned towards BG instead ?? After all, BG was, and still is, the enemy. Is it not ?? Or is it....
I can't help wondering if they did make a mutual behind the curtains agreement along the way, that would help them both in saving money down the tracks.
The Market is a funny and unreliable place to be playing in. And luck, IMO, plays a very important role with it.

Marsup,
I agree with you that Shell/Petrochina would want our gas. But, what we mustn't forget, is that this time around they are not dealing with the likes of Arrow where they (Shell) held a commanding position in that company.
This time around they are dealng with BOW, and BOW is 100% owned by ourselves. They may be able to short the living light out of us, but unless the Board will tell them that they are welcome to take us out, they can only wissle dixie, and pray. On the other hand they can short our stock to such a low level that even the Board may decide that enough is enough.
As for me, I am hoping for bigger and better things to come. After all, the offer on the table is only a pitiful per GJ price/figure in compare to what ESG has been offered by STO.
Good luck.
