certified, I think as general rule, if you are buying when everyone else is (periods of abnormally high volume) you need to be very certain that the reason for the volume is really going to change the fortunes of the share price (first) and company (second) in the medium and long term
(not saying this applies to NMR, but all the worst resource companies trade on ridiculously good looking ev/resource ratios)
because if it goes pear shaped, for what ever reason, there's a heap of volume that wants to get off at the same price as you. it becomes very hard to get off for better than break even in the short and medium term
